Landlord of the Year


This category is open to housing associations, ALMOs, and stock-retaining councils that do more than simply provide a roof over people’s heads.

We want to hear from landlords that put tenants at the heart of everything that they do, who are passionate about delivering additional services to customers, and are finding innovative ways to support tenants – from employment and training initiatives to financial advice.

We want to see examples of landlords that are diversifying and growing their services, building new homes and bringing empty properties back into use, and finding innovative ways of raising funds and generating commercial income.

Shortlisted organisations will put tenants at the heart of the everything they do.


PLEASE NOTE: There is no charge for submitting an entry for The Northern Housing Awards, however if you are shortlisted for the awards, we do ask that you purchase a minimum of one ticket (£205 + VAT) for the awards ceremony.
